KIM WESTAD'S ARTWORK
WHY I CHOSE KIM WESTAD
I chose Kim Westad to be my artist because I thought her vessels were really intresting and beautiful. I also thought it was very neat of how she made all her vessels on the wheel. I think it is intresting how she created her vessels on the wheel only because it is very hard to create the movement of curves on the wheel. I also liked Kim's vessels because she made her vessels complex, but glazed it simple. I incorporated Kim's style into my project by using movement in my curves and using a simple white glaze on the outside of my piece. i also incorporated Kim's style by making my piece functional.
